We were delighted to hear that as well as exploring the story of Noah’s ark using our lesson plans this Primary 2 class linked it across the curriculum.
They were practising their skip counting in 2s, 5s, 10s. It was easy for them to link counting in 2s to the animals going into the ark in pairs.
During free choosing time several children decided to work together to build an ark in the construction area.
And it didn’t stop there. We were so impressed to hear they’ve been learning French and practiced the colours of the rainbow in French. And they painted rainbows to help them work on their colour mixing. What a brilliant idea!
